TERMS AND CONDITIONS (T&C)

1. CONTRACTING PARTY

By making a reservation, the guest accepts these Terms and Conditions.
2. RESERVATIONS AND CONTRACT CONCLUSION
Reservations may be made through the Guesthouse fürDich website or through third parties (e.g. online booking platforms).
Upon completion of the booking process, a binding accommodation contract is concluded.
Guests are not entitled to a specific room number. Guesthouse fürDich guarantees the booked room category only.
Bookings of four rooms or more are considered group bookings and are subject to separate conditions.
The resale, subletting or transfer of booked rooms is not permitted.
3. PAYMENT AND CREDIT CARDS
A valid credit card or one of the accepted alternative payment methods is required to secure a reservation.
Guesthouse fürDich reserves the right to verify payment details and perform pre-authorisations.
The total amount of the stay may be charged no later than the day of arrival.
If payment cannot be processed or invalid payment details are provided, Guesthouse fürDich reserves the right to cancel the reservation.
Storage of Credit Card Information
By providing a credit card during the booking process or at check-in, the guest agrees that credit card related data may be processed and stored by the certified payment service providers used by Guesthouse fürDich as well as by the Mews hotel management system.
Such storage and processing is carried out exclusively through certified systems and payment providers in accordance with applicable security and data protection standards.
Credit card information may be used solely for the following purposes:

Securing and guaranteeing the reservation

Processing pre-authorisations
-
Charging accommodation and additional services
-
Charging cancellation and no-show fees
-
Charging for damages, losses or extraordinary cleaning costs
-
Settling outstanding amounts arising from the accommodation contract
This also applies to credit cards provided on-site as a guarantee for the stay, additional services, or potential claims arising from the accommodation contract.
4. CANCELLATION POLICY
The cancellation conditions confirmed at the time of booking are binding.
The time at which the cancellation request is received by Guesthouse fürDich shall be decisive.
Non-Refundable Rates
Reservations marked as “non-refundable” cannot be cancelled or modified free of charge.
In the event of cancellation or no-show, 100% of the total booking amount will be charged.
Flexible Rates
Individual Bookings

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before arrival

Less than 24 hours before arrival: 100% of the total booking amount

No-show: 100% of the total booking amount
Group Bookings (four rooms or more)

Free cancellation up to 7 days before arrival

Less than 7 days before arrival: 50% of the total booking amount
-
Less than 48 hours before arrival or no-show: 100% of the total booking amount

Reservations made through online booking platforms must be cancelled in accordance with the policies of the respective provider.
5. CHECK-IN, LATE CHECK-IN AND NO-SHOW
Regular Check-in Hours
Low Season:
Monday to Saturday: 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm
Sunday: until 8:00 pm
Summer Season (01 June – 06 September):
Monday to Saturday: 3:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Sunday: until 8:00 pm
Arrivals outside these hours are only possible upon prior arrangement and explicit confirmation by Guesthouse fürDich.
Guests are required to inform Guesthouse fürDich in good time if their arrival is delayed or if they wish to request a late check-in.
Guesthouse fürDich will make reasonable efforts to arrange a late check-in where possible. However, guests are not automatically entitled to a late check-in.
If the guest fails to inform Guesthouse fürDich about a delayed arrival and does not arrive within the regular check-in hours, the reservation may be treated as a no-show.
6. CHECK-OUT
Rooms must be vacated by 11:00 am on the day of departure.
In the event of a late check-out, Guesthouse fürDich may charge up to 100% of the room rate for an additional night.
Any further losses, damages or loss of revenue remain reserved.
7. HOUSE RULES AND RIGHT OF ADMISSION
Guesthouse fürDich reserves the right to refuse entry or remove guests from the property.
This applies in particular in cases of:

Failure to comply with staff instructions

Harassment or endangerment of other guests

Discriminatory behaviour
-
Significant disruption of hotel operations
In such cases, no refund shall be granted.
The following house rules also apply:

Quiet hours begin at 10:00 pm. Guests are kindly requested to show particular consideration towards other guests, neighbours and staff members.

Parties and events in guest rooms are not permitted.

Guest rooms may not be used for commercial or business activities.
-
Consideration for other guests, neighbours and staff must be maintained at all times.
Violations of the house rules may result in immediate removal from the property.
Children under the age of 14 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
8. DAMAGES, KEYS AND ADDITIONAL CHARGES
Guests are liable for any damage caused by themselves or by persons accompanying them.
Stolen or damaged property will be charged at replacement value.
An additional administration fee of CHF 200 may be charged where applicable.
The guest expressly agrees that legitimate claims arising from the accommodation contract may be charged to the payment method provided at the time of booking.
This includes, but is not limited to:

Damage to the building or inventory

Loss of keys or access badges
-
Extraordinary cleaning costs
-
Violations of house rules
-
Outstanding additional charges
A fee of up to CHF 150 may be charged for lost keys or access badges.
9. NON-SMOKING POLICY
Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the entire building.
Any violation will result in a minimum charge of CHF 150, plus any additional cleaning, restoration or loss-of-revenue costs incurred.
In the event of serious or repeated violations of the non-smoking policy, Guesthouse fürDich reserves the right to terminate the accommodation contract with immediate effect and remove the guest from the property.
In such cases, no refund of payments already made shall be granted.
10. PETS
Pets are only permitted upon prior agreement.
Guesthouse fürDich reserves the right to charge additional cleaning costs as well as any damages caused by pets.
11. FOOD AND BEVERAGES
Consumption of food and beverages brought from outside is not permitted in the public areas of the property.
The preparation of meals in guest rooms is not permitted.
Breakfast is not included in the room rate unless explicitly stated otherwise.
12. DATA PROTECTION
Guests are required to provide all legally required information truthfully.
Personal data is processed exclusively in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

13. CANCELLATION BY GUESTHOUSE FÜRDICH
Guesthouse fürDich reserves the right to cancel reservations for justified reasons, including but not limited to:

Force majeure
-
Technical or system errors
-
Invalid payment details
-
Violations of these Terms and Conditions
-
Missing, incomplete or obviously incorrect identification or travel documents
Any payments already made will be refunded in full.
Guesthouse fürDich further reserves the right to refuse check-in if the legally required identification, registration or travel documents cannot be provided.
14. FINAL PROVISIONS
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed exclusively by Swiss law.
Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
